New Member: Cor Veenman
Cor Veenman is senior scientist data science at the Data Science department at TNO, The Hague. He received the MSc degree in computer science/AI from the Free University in Amsterdam and his PhD from the Delft University of Technology in Delft in Data Science and Computer Vision. From 2005 he was assistant professor in computational forensic science at the University of Amsterdam (UvA), where he shaped the collaboration of the Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI) and the UvA on data science and biometrics. Then, for almost 10 years he developed data science projects for the public safety and security sector at the NFI and coordinated the scientific research. Since, 2015 Veenman holds a position at Leiden University (LIACS) on Accountable Data Science. Recently, Veenman moved to TNO, where he is the scientific lead of Responsible Data Analytics.
